Ever since being rescued, Angel would always face the wall when people are around.

The rescuers of Angel thought that her habit of always facing the wall is a strong indication that she was severely abused before. There was strong fear in Angel that she would not even eat from her bowl until after she's been left alone. Desperate to make her improve, the rescuers recruited another dog from the shelter to accompany Angel for the meantime. This made gradual improvement on Angel's behavior. She became more sociable and her self-esteem went up. Now,  she's very active and friendly and confident of a brighter future.
